hahahaha evil ways!! Lucy Griffiths left the show for Hollywood so they could not have ended up together anyway! I almost like the Daniel-Esther better b/c Esther bosses Daniel around and is in firm control of the relationship!!
Oh the fact that Lucy was good wasn’t the issue. I simply didn’t like how the character used Guy.

Oh , the eyes definitely have it…That stare of Guy to Marion what I wouldn’t give to have that smolder look at me…ahhhh life is so unfair. Have never met a man in person who even compares, no matter how handsome. and Marian was a cruel and using person who only cared for herself, even wanting him to kill the sheriff knowing what would happen to the whole of Nottingham.
I’m in the minority on Marian here but I think Giy was at his best w her!

I think she had feelings for him, but they were pretty surface. At one point in S1, she was resigned to marry him. She told Robin, he had qualities. And in that time period, he did. He was a member of the nobility, he – uhm – had a good job, a nice house, wealth, a good position. He would make a good provider. So in that, maybe she had some feelings for him. Just wish she hadn’t screwed him over.
Marian also wanted to protect her father and knew that Giy could help her. She could have been w Robin if she really wanted to but Robin treated subserviently and Guy
Loved her like an equal or truly was in love w her even after he found out she was the Knight Watchman
Guy did love her, I just think she used him, especially after her father died.
That entire plot did NOT make sense to me! At all!!!!
I found it a courtship w Guy trying so hard to love Marian be loyal to Vasey and be true to himself. S2 was my fav by far!!
s3 was a cockup because of all the new people. I read somewhere, they went mostly on Richard’s notes from the 1st 2 seasons. I like S3 the best because he finally stands on his own, warts and all.
Oh no I did not like S3 I felt there was a lack of continuity and the romance and charm were gone
S3 was the least cohesive. The ONLY character that grew the entire series was Guy. Blobbin didn’t change, Much didn’t change, and I love Much, Vaisey didn’t change….I could care less about Kate or Isabella, who could have been a super interesting character…

If you remember season 1 Marian treated Robin like she did most men. She acted like he was a nobody and said she could protect herself. She definitely payed more attention to Guy and yes she did have feelings, his qualities as the put it, like when she put her hand out when his chest was bare. A little hard not to,but she saw Robin was watching too,so Guy saved her so many times and in telling Robin so much she really was killing people with her knowledge, like the man who was tortured in her place. That bothered me.showed how cruel she could be. Richard always siad he didn’t believe Guy tried to hill her, that he had the sword in his hand and tried to grab her and the sword pierced her. He said him and Lucy talked the night before and both felt there were many words that needed to be said but unfortunately it was not written that way.
Yeah I thought I had read he said he had nightmares leading up to that ending scene in RH2 where Marian is killed. I agree totally w your assessment and analysis
Guy was the better match all the way around you for Marian and she knew it!!
I have always said and thought that Marian’s death was an accident. That sword was REALLY big!!!

I’m working on them. You’re right, I’m insane and just… life has been crazy and the only down time I’ve had was Saturday when Spawn and I went to Charleston. I probably COULD have stayed home and wrote, but we needed to get out of the house and go somewhere and just breathe air that wasn’t ours. Hopefully, this weekend I’ll find some time to wrap up the chapter and get the two of them good and bedded!
Sounds good to me 🙂 But I know you will do it eventually. Life sometimes has a way of getting in the way. Shoot I just read a story on that site and it was good but never finished. I hate that.. went 19 chapters and that was it. Written in 2009.
I have 2 stories I’ve not updated in years. Over the holidays, I reread the big one and was shocked at how close it is to being completed. So I’m taking notes and I’ve put it on the big Lazy Susan of Zee’s WIPS. The second one, I get emails, reviews, begging me to finish it. Thing is I have a big ass plot hole and I’m at a loss on how to fix it.
Oh and the one I”ve come back to has 41 chapters…
Ah, the writers block. I started one and ended up with only 5 chapters and then the block hit me. but it is not a story of any TV character it is just a story. I know my ending I just do not know how to get there lol
That is the worst thing… worse than how to begin a story.. 5 chapters is a lot though!!

I tend to have the beginning and the end of my story solid. It’s the middle that the problem. I just start wandering… lol! I wandered much longer than I intended on Manna from Heaven. I didn’t think it would reach more than 15 chapters and more than 100,000 words. In the end it was up to 360,000 words.
Manna From Heaven is so well written. I love those characters!! Inspirational for me
I put that one together pretty tight. I have one other that is that tightly woven and it’s the one I put away for 9 years and just picked back up. I’m going to start weaving all those loose ties in for it and wrap it up. People are going to hate me when I finish it. I have a group in one camp and a group in another. No way to appease all.

Well you know Manna from Heaven is a favorite of mine. I told you I have read tt 4 times and I am sure next year if it is still posted will read it again. it is just so well written. I love how you just mesh all of the characters.
