Consider it’s up in a HIGH ponytail… I think I might let it grow long enough to donate to locks of love. It’s healthy, the ends aren’t split and it’s not frizzy…

 

It might already BE long enough for Locks of Love… I think it is. It’s 10 to 12 inches below my shoulder (which is where I like it)

I get to do this dance again on Wednesday! Closer to home, my preferred genre and age group…

 

I think this time I’ll do the dress…

 

 

I might have to buy hose. Bleh.

 

too bad I don’t have garters and stockings. Believe it or not, when I was thinner, they were more comfortable.

Well I must say

I’m rather pleased so far…

 

 

That’s about 2 hours worth of work. I originally tried a lavender hairy yarn on bamboo circulars, but the yarn wouldn’t slide up on lefthand needle. So, we tried with a cotton thread I’ve got (it’s really a smokey blue-grey) on a pair of shalaqued needles. Spawn has already told me this hat is his. If this turns out well, I’ll make one to match my opera-wristers and one to match the wristers I’ve made my sister and niece…

 

Actually, I’m ecstatic I can SEE the ribbing. I’ve made 4 dishcloths and you really can’t see the pattern at all… which is irritating.

For some reason I thought that Thorin was by far the most popular of all RAPS subjects. To me it felt as if I had enshrined the noble King more than any other chaRActer over the course of the last six months. I thought he had beaten the old favourite, Mr Thornton, and even my very own gorgeous knight, Sir Guy. Thorin on map, Thorin with crowns, Thorin mad, Thorin sexy… It was all Thorin to me. But when I did a little bit of analytics today, I realized that Thorin is *not* the “most favourite” RAPS subject at all.

In fact, there is no clear favourite. Much to my own surprise Thorin is up there with Mr Thornton and Guy at five shrines each. And – this is the biggest surprise for me, considering my great difficulties at confining the spy to a tin – with…

for a second time! Enjoyed it more, truth be told and I enjoyed it the first time. I really focused on the Fuller family relationship – sorry, I WANT to refer to them as ‘Morris’ really bad – dynamics and it was SO well played! I relate to Gary, not only because I’m a teacher, but the single parent factor as well. Luckily for me, Spawn and I didn’t go through the ‘I know everything and I just hate my mom‘ period and due to reasons, we didn’t have to deal with my ex husband or memories of my ex and his family, which made things healthier.

 

All in all, an enjoyable movie and I hope we can hit it a third time… maybe at the dollar theater in a few weeks and we’ll DEFINITELY own the dvd!

 

Oh and yeah, POP!Thorin was very happy to go again!

And this time, I bowed to His Sexiness’s desire

Our perfect day came to a crashing halt when we discovered that Robin Williams had passed away. I am deeply grieving. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Such a tragedy.
