It Was One of Those Roles That I’d Always Coveted…

Wish I could afford the trip to see it.

Sooooo…..

Mom finally got checked out down in xray – stoved and banged up, no additional damage to her back, double up on your pain meds and go walk. We walked all over that hospital floor yesterday. – and dad is doing wonderful (thumb is NOT broken) and they are coming home today. 

 

My mother – yes, my mother – thought she would simply call the rental company, they would deliver the car to the hospital and she would just drive them home. 

 

I’m thinking – how much of your pain meds are you takin’, woman! I don’t think so. 

 

so I’m off in a few hours to pick them up. 

 

I’m taking reinforcements in case she gets out of hand.

“Pirate Guuuuuuy…… I’m jealous….” she said. And “Damn, I’m like…. jealous!!!! He’s beautiful and he NEEDS to be in my bed… Guy is just…… oh la la BABY come to Mama!!!!” And “Isn’t he loooooooooooovely… isn’t he One. Der. Full!!! Lovely, as ever. Isn’t he preeeeeeeeeeeesciiiiiiiiiiiouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuus…. I’ll stop now.” And there was more, an initial nsfwreaction on the very first RAPS, that sparked the idea in me to make a Pirate Guy for a very deserving, recipient. I think we can safely say that Zeesmuse is “openly Guy”. I think I may have told this story before, but I’ll tell it again because it is one of those fandom love stories that illustrate how this network of fans works and how it forges real connections.

He is here

Guylty… He is here! Stopped at the post on my way to the hospital. Can’t take pictures here, but He is here and I love him and I’ll get pictures tonight! Thank you thank you!!!! And all the rest!!! 

For those interested….

Dad’s thumb isn’t broken (severe rheumatoid arthritis.) They found another (small) bleeder and otherwise his vitals are excellent. TRIED to get pictures… hard when another car is up against the damaged side. The guy who hit him struck him at the front bumped, dragged him across several lanes, turning him 180 degrees before continuing on before coming to a halt.

 

But Dad is resting for now and we HOPE to bring him home Thursday or Friday. Mom wavers from yeah, I’ll let them check me out to, no, it will take hours, I’m not leaving him and I’ll contact my doctor. We HAVE contacted her doctor – reminds me I need to contact dad’s rhuematologist.

 

The internet here is too slow to allow me to load pictures. But for some odd reason, it let me load at tumblr… What a crock.

 

 

For those I didn’t get to

My parents were involved a very serious car accident this afternoon. My dad is in ICU, although mostly for observation for some mild bleeding (that’s what the doctors say – MILD bleeding… in the brain???? That’s not so MILD to me!) and my mom is refusing medical attention because she is afraid they will admit her and put her in a different room. (Yes, she who had back surgery 2 weeks ago) He has a broken and severely lacerated thumb and head lacerations that took stitches and staples and they can’t decide if he has any other broken bones. (They were T boned on the Driver’s Side – dad’s) Prayers and good thoughts would be appreciated.

Last night… we met and it was love at first sight.

 

Last night…  we talked about subjects and laughed and found we had so much in common. 

 

Last night… we went to a play and listened to the music. And enjoyed it, because we were together 

 

Last night… you held me close and I could smell you, smell the scent of your cologne

 

and you were irresistible. 

 

Last night,… you held me close and I could feel the quiet, patient strength of your embrace… the power of your chest

 

and when you kissed me, your lips on mine were sweet as honey. Your tongue was persuasive and coaxing.

 

And we made plans for somewhere quieter. 

 

and then I woke up. 

 

And I could still feel you holding me close

 

I could still smell you 

 

I could still feel your breath on my ear, whispering – let’s go somewhere else…quieter.

 

And I could still taste you in my mouth. 

 

And people wonder, why I hate the day. 

This is NOT making my day better

So, remember that little belt I had pop off my engine 2 weeks ago that pretty much busted me for the rest of the month???? 

 

Guess what’s laying on the ground again??? 

 

 

 

very unhappy. I need a mechanic.
