After eating breakfast and lunch, I got a wild hair and got on my mom’s scale.
HOLY MOLEY!!!!! Even with that, I’ve lost 20 pounds since I moved in late July!!!!!
Mom thinks I’ll lose another 10 between now and the end of April…. due to reasons… 🙂
Here. Have some Richard!!!!
Congrats – that sounds fantastic. And I suspect your mum is right… although the feminist in me is pissed off about the notion of a man being the best motivation for looking good 😠
🙂
I’ve never been a feminist. (I think I’m pretty strong on my own!)
Besides, my house has HORRID cell phone reception, so when he calls in the evening, I go outside and walk the neighborhood. I’m exercising! LOL!
Make the calls as long as you can – you’ll get even more exercise in 😉
We’ve been talking about an hour every night. It’s weird because my friends know I’m not one to talk on phone ever. I prefer to text. We text during the day – especially between classes and during my lunch, but we do talk at night. I’m a nervous pacer anyway, so I might as well make it work for me.
Aw, that all sounds really sweet, belying the mutual interest. I am almost jealous – the feeling is so energising!
I’m still in shock about the whole thing.
Proof that things only ever happen when you don’t expect them to.
I wasn’t looking for this. At all. I’m still getting my house in order. That will take a long time! Also one of the local colleges offers a Masters in Music Ed, so I’m looking at starting that as well. My life is pretty full and this happens. We’ll see where this goes. 🙂
It all sounds great. Glad to see that do many have started coming together with the new job and the move!
Not suggesting anyone live their life this way, but I’m gonna give it a better effort…heh
Kissing: 68 calories per hour
Remember how, when you were first dating, you’d start locking lips and 30 minutes later you’d come up for air? See if you can get into that groove again, say experts. Not only is smooching a great way to show affection and improve your bond as a couple, it can also help you burn fat. “If the kissing is vigorous and involves some petting, it could be even closer to 90 calories burned in an hour,” says Jaiya Kinzbach, a Los Angeles–based sexologist and the author of Red Hot Touch. Try her technique for turning kissing into an honest-to-goodness workout session: “Kiss in unusual positions,” she recommends. “Have the guy on his back and do ‘plank pose’ or a push-up on top of him, coming down to kiss him and then pushing back up. Push-ups burn 171 calories in 30 minutes.”

Well I’m going to nail him the first minute. He was an awesome kisser!!!
I’m thinking that more kissing is always good. I was never a good kisser, mostly cause I had no clue and the first guy that ever kissed me, was a nice young man, I was 17 and has never been kissed. This boy had a tongue like Gene Simmons, I think I have a picture of it somewhere. He was shocked when he jumped on me and realised I had no freakin’ clue what to do or what he was doing. Funny in hindsight. The hubs just heard this first kiss story last year 😈
I’m in the same camp, I’m strong and know what I want for myself. Have never needed anyone else or a group to help me think for myself. 💖 Happy for you girl❗️💕
Agreed Guylty❗️ Always present your best for yourself💐 the rest will sort itself out 💕
Well I’ve let myself go, to be honest. Never thought there would ever be another possibility for me. I was pretty settled on being alone. (For the most part)
Now I have a month to lose 80 pounds, get my blood sugar under control and have some serious dental work done!
Sounds good to me! Plus losing 80lbs? Well, walking while you talk on the phone sounds like a perfect way to burn some of those off 😈 ⭕️❌m
That’s what I’m doing – despite the pollen! LOL!
How are you feeling today?
Better and worse, it is good that I was too sick to go to WonderCon this year. Otherwise I would not have been here yesterday when my little boy left us. He was over 14yrs old and had died but the doctor brought him back. She told the hubs she brought him back on Easter, but we still lost him last night. We have been crying all night, so I am trying to stop but looking at things that make me happy and while the hubs gets a few hours alone in bed, your blog makes me happy and I stopped crying for an hour or so…my face is swollen so I have to put more perpetration H on my eyes and an ice mask to bring the puffiness down. So I’m going back to your walking, talking and working on your pants getting looser. Not fit any particular reason mind you. I would never suggest naughty behavior. That I leave to Sir Guy 😈💕
Oh no. OH Mimi, I am so sorry. There are no words of comfort, I know, but you and your family are in my prayers.
Thank you, I don’t want people to feel bad. Queequeg knew love from the day I brought him home. He was thrown out by monsters that had him for his first two years and he loved us for over twelve years. Our motto has always been to give our hair balls (the hubs includes his in this motto) as much love and good living as possible. We did and he loved us in return. No regrets, just grateful I was home for him, hubs and the one we still have. 😔
I would just be lost. My son is so attached to his Girly Girl, she’s his excuse not to do anything.
But moooooooooooom, she’s in my lap and won’t moooooooooooooooooove.
We’ve rescued more than few strays in our day. My sister is a rescue magnet. She has 5, every one of them showed up on her door over a 5 year period on very very cold days. And Friday! Always.
Queequeg knew you loved him and that’s more than many furbabies ever know.
Agreed! The hubs says they die before us because they are so good and we need to learn to be as good as they are. I may have a damn long life ahead of me then. Damnit! 😈
Oh, we have rescued four Pekingese since 1993, but they have lived well and they were all right out of the killing cage. The newest one we got they day after he was supposed to be killed. Maryjo from UAAF.org called me to foster Moby because she knew I was good with Pekes and biters to boot. Alan wanted to adopt Moby (we for him at 10 months old, the monsters that had him never gave him a name, I tried a variety, but he responded to Moby) after we got him through his neuter op (men are so touchy about that and the grief I get from them at work, you’d think I was taking their little nuts) and series of shots, because he couldn’t accept the idea of putting him out there for adoption when he could be with us. Yeah, this tough manly man is a keeper❣
20 pounds! Great! Congratulations 🙂
Well I knew I was losing something because the jeans I bought when I moved are getting really loose… I didn’t think I’d lost that much, though.
When you can take those pants off w/o unbutton/unzipping them . . . well you don’t need me to put ideas in your head ❤️😈💐
heh heh heh!
Hey, I don’t care what the reason is, that’s great! 😃 Now I just need to do the same…
I’ve been kinda quiet about this, but in short, my high school sweetheart found me. He’s divorced, his kids are grown and he wants to see me, see if that old spark is still there. I’m up for it. I think he looks great and he SAYS he’s not disappointed in my pics… he treated me like a queen so we’ll just have to see…
All digits crossed for you! About time you had something good happen, let’s hope this goes well! 😃
I’m going to be honest, since I got the job, things have been good. Granted, I had to deal with the move and living in a motel for several months, and the job IS tough… but I’ve been rather happy and things have been good and on the up.
That’s so good to hear! Rooting for for you for all things staying positive!
that’s great 🙂 and i am sure brill for your health above all 🙂
And he sounds lovely, as do the long phone calls! and somebody who has such good taste and manners even when he was very good is a good sign! 🙂 crossing fingers and toes 🙂
I’m willing to be patient to see how this will run. There are some miles between us, several hours on the road to reach point A and B. But it’s all good.
So happy for you, Zee! That’s exciting all around =)
Now to keep it off!!!!
Keep fit you temptress you! OH, and Thank You for the tasty calorie free treats too 😀
Yeah, I read your writing girl! You have given me lots of bad/fun ideas. May my hubs never know the details…I didn’t say that❗️ I deny everything❗️
Well HE wants to read my writing and I’m thinking I’d better go do some editing!!!!
(As we know, my males are beasts and he did get his Bach degree in journalism!)
Your males are real men from my personal experience anyway. Besides, while I consider my hubs a Neanderthal in some aspects, his manliness (confidence in who he is) has always been always made him secure enough that he does not ever feel the need to stifle my independence, pushy, bossy, do what I say cause I know what needs to be done here attitude/personality. I was born that way and I love how he never bats an eye when I have something delivered to the house and they delivery men refer to him as Mr. Cruz 😈 Cause you know there are a lot of 6’3″ blue/green eyed Mexican men
I don’t know if I would let my hubs read your writing! He already has enough inspiration without adding your suggestions to it, they are helpful for me tho cause I’ve never had an imagination. Your err … um well, your writing has been inspiring and I’ll leave it at that. Keep up (no pun intended) the good work 💕😈
