Love the time tracking. I know i don’t think I ever saw a hurricane go so slow. Brother told me at one point slowed down to 1 mile per hr. Only thing is the more it slows moving the more damage it can do to the place it is hovering. Take care 🙂
Yeah, once it came off of the Bahamas (made landfall 3 times) the Jet Stream pushed down and the high pressure system moved into the Atlantic and the two were steering it north. Takes time to move something that big. So 1 MPH… yup. I walk faster than that!
The original eye collapsed last night and a second eye took its place. Between that and cooler waters, it’s weakening, but growing. So it can sit off the coast all it wants, it’s going to beat the coasts to death.
So we’re doing laundry and just biding our time.
Had a scare this morning. We were loading up the car with laundry and realized the garage door and the outer door were open. Couldn’t find Girly Girl. Searched the house and grounds for 30 minutes!!! Finally found her hiding my closet behind my tunics on the bottom rack.
Thank goodness. Is especially hard when you have moved to a new house for the animals to get out. I am glad you found her and she is safe. Yeah, I guess other than the winds we could all outwalk Dorian

Your president could have come to Poland and not sent mr Mike Pence in his place. Dorian may not touch his private home in Mar-a-Lago, near Miami. “
At this point, it’s veering further east, so it doesn’t look as if we going to get anything except rain, wind and 7 feet of storm surge.
Hurricanes are never predictable. You don’t know what they’re going to do until they do it.
Earlier, President Trump said Mar-A-Lago could take care of itself – he was concerned about the people of Florida. I think under the conditions, he made the right call. I mean, how bad would the press and the Left bashed him had he gone to Poland and then Dorian made landfall or beat the tar out of Florida and Georgia??? Better safe than sorry!
I’d be a nervous wreck living in an area where there are these seasonal threats! There are occasional cyclones in the north of Australia, and bush fires are a threat over summer but where I live isn’t prone to dangerous weather events.
Hope you managed to get your laundry all done!

My son was just frantic to find her. She’s a great hider so I figure she had to be in the house somewhere. Thank God she showed up!!!
