Dorian’s path has shifted – and not in a good way for us.
After talking, Spawn and I have decided to make a decision tomorrow. This thing is slowing down and getting bigger. 150 is a Cat 5 and it’s at 145 now with nothing but open water. you can see how slow it’s moving and I honestly believe it will reach that stage.
If we stay, we’ll do laundry and grocery tomorrow. If we go to the Interior, we’ll do laundry at mom’s and we’ll do grocery when we come back.
Right now, I don’t even want to clean or unpack, but I do need to clean. If we pack for the interior, I need a clean slate in my room and I do want to clean the kitchen. Neither will take long. I should have both done in an hour.
No midnight hour diddle daddle don’t mess with Morher Nature! 😂😘❤️😉
No, tomorrow will be early enough. We filled the tank last night. We have 2 cases and 2 1gallon jugs of water. We need to clean out the car. I still have stuff from the move in there! LOL!
You don’t think traffic will be wicked?
We’ll go up the back roads. We far enough off the road that going to I95 will take us out of our way.
Cool! Your parents will be happy !
Take care. I know when my brother lived in Pensacola he had to leave and drive north west, usually the traffic is horrendous when these thing happen and it is lined up for miles and miles. Good idea to take back roads. 🙂
we’re far enough off the highway that going to it isn’t worth it. We’ll check out I16 when we cross it, but I’m thinking back roads willbe the way to go. We won’t have impact until Thursday, so we have time to plan.
These storms are so scary! Take care and stay safe.
Latest models say we’re going to get more than a glancing blow. And that sucker is up to a Cat 5 – 175 MPH! It has the most well defined eye I’ve ever seen. I’m worried for the coasts of Georgia and the Carolinas.
So are you heading to parents today?
No. At this moment, we’re going to try to ride it out. I’m stupid.
Well stay safe sweetie 😘❤️
