After cancelling our viewing appointment TWICE and rushing us through the house on Tuesday, I was having issues with the application that night and emailed the realtor who just emailed me back and told me someone else applied for and got the house on Tuesday.
Unimpressed. Unhappy. Sigh.

get in touch with another realtor and tell them what is going on.. maybe a bit wider scope just to see what is available. Yes I know commute but factor in EVERYTHING.. it will happen… this home was just not meant to be.. big hugs to you..

Trying to find a pet friendly house with a family room and a garage that I can afford is almost impossible. I saw one house Tuesday that was just TOO small and the realtor was going on and on about how BIG it was with 1000 square feet and maybe I just needed to like… put my piano in the 3rd bedroom or get rid of furniture… and then I sprung on her… I’m currently in a 1400 square foot home with a detached 20 x 20 garage.
and she got quiet.

Wow… they can just do that and let the house go to someone else? Maybe something better is in store for you.
If they applied for it before me and that’s what happened. I find it pretty strange that my appointment to see the house was cancelled and rescheduled twice and then I was rushed through it because the tenant was there with her kids. It was uncomfortable because you really can’t go through closets and poke into pantries and bathrooms.
A bunch of houses came available today. I have an appointment to see one on Wednesday and I contact several agents about a dozen more. Hopefully, one of these will pan out.
