It has been a very rough 18 hours. Let’s just say the highlight was the 20 loads of laundry we did last night. Took 6 hours. Normally laundry takes us 2 to 2 and a half hours – we do them in one sitting at a laundry mat, but yesterday it started with not enough detergent for the machines so we have 5 loads that didn’t get started until after the others were almost finished and then we realized we were short funds with us to feed the dryers- which is upsetting as I took 60 bucks, so a bunch of loads sat in the washers while others were drying, one of the washing machines didn’t wring, so I had to take everything out of it and put it in ANOTHER machine to run the cycle again so they didn’t go into the dryer until 30 minutes after everything else was finally in and then – this is actually funny, when we were finishing up on of the dryers, I opened the door and the big round glass front fell into the dryer. Luckily it didn’t break and on a normal day, we would have laughed but it wasn’t normal – it was after 1 AM. Which is the other problem, it was 2 AM when we finished and came home.
I won’t being to discuss how stupid the police are around here. Spawn is feeling particularly persecuted right now, and it’s probably a good thing I wasn’t in the car with him when it happened.
There was no dinner last night, nothing and I’m out of my main meds – picking them up before noon – and I’m supposed to go look at a house today. hoping more. either way, I forgot to take stabby stabby meds and I’ll bet my blood sugar is up and I’m not even going to attempt it. My nose is running, out in the rain bringing in the wet clothes from the garage. (We had them on the back patio and had a thunderburst) and then it started raining again when we were loading the car.Β My body hurts, my head hurts, my ankles are swollen and they hurt.
Oh Doctor Track….
But it’s Guy Day, so Guy it is! I’ve come to the conclusion the reason why I can’t scroll my archive is because my system is too slow to do it. Maybe when my laptop gets back from HP, I’ll have better luck.
Can we start with a back rub?
you know, I always found it interesting how Guy managed to get a new horse – a white horse, of all things – halfway through S3. About the time he took the Hero turn…
There is some Advil in my future. VERY near future. Have a nice day.
Hang in there sweetie!! Guy is always here with you and we are there in spirit!
Try to decompress tonight, take stabby stabby
Do bit by bit each day πβ€οΈπ€
Right now, we need to unload the car. Funny how much you miss your trunk when it’s not available.
Oh definitely take stabby stabby and yes Dr. Track would definitely recommend the same and make you feel better. I noticed too about the white horse and that it became his horse in season 3 after he and Robin decided to get in together to go after Archer. I thought yes, he turned into a good guy so he needs a white horse and not Richie. Thank you as always fo the ever gorgeous Sir Guy. Love the photo where he is moving back against the tree and right before disappearing licks his lips with his tongue. Does that man know how to work a camera or what??? Bottom line make sure to take care of your personal health as well as mental through all of this.
Irish I loved how he spoke about Richie though like it was a pal of his ππ₯°π
Hehe, I think there is a lesson about washing somewhere in this… But I forget. At least it is all done and now you can pack and move. (Ok, find a house first.)
Most of it is probably going to be folded and put in the dresser and chest in the 3rd bedroom. I’m not worrying about packing today. Just… not.
Normally, I would never to this much laundry in one sitting, but it had to be done. I had to throw away things because they were already molding. The stench was awful.
That whole flooding thing… you know, maybe it has made it easier for you to declutter and get rid of some things… (eternally the optimist here).
True, but the stuff I really need to get rid of and go through are in the back corner that didn’t get any moisture. It’s the stuff in the front I just recently packed that was damaged and destroyed. I can live with fewer sheets and towels and mattress pads that don’t fit the bed anyway – my school music on the other hand. That was mine and I went through it before I packed it and brought it home. I left 75% of my stuff at the school. (Of course, I’m trying to pack records and I have the recordings of the things I left! I guess they’ll get ‘donated’ to the new school when I leave there lol!
