We are having bad thunderstorms. We’re under a tornado watch until 6 PM and the tornado siren went off about 10 minutes ago. All is quiet… for now. Where is my Gary?
The internal storage on my phone is full. Means sending text, receiving text, doing ANYTHING is impossible. I”ve tried to remove some things but I can’t remove the programs I do not use (Google, email, Instagram, Uber) This means when my tax return comes in, I”m getting a new phone. Spawn and I are researching various phones now.

Right now, we are both painfully broke and I won’t see a paycheck until a week from MOnday and he’ll not get his SSI until a week from Wednesday. WE’ll be digging into the rent stash for gas. Right now, we’re staying in and eating at home. for the rest of the month. I’m thinking tonight, I”ll make corn and potato chowder with bacon!
There’s a Farmer’s Market in Savannah we’ve not been to. I”m thinking a trip in June would do us both good
Listen sometimes that is just as good if not better than going out and expunging gas and doing something for the sake of it. I’ve spent many a nice weekend watching comfort movies and now reading with the pups. You probably have a plethora of viewing to do like RH re watch or even your long awaited North and South. That is always a great comfort series to watch and swoon over!!! And there is always Gary. Spawn loves ITS so there ya go!!!
I”m thinking I”m going to dig out my copies of A Discovery of Witches – which I”ve NOT watch yet. OR we might watch Bohemian Rhapsody and/or The Greatest Show. We’re going to have rain all day, it’s going to be quite cool (for us) tomorrow – temp drop of 20 degrees, high in the mid 60’s. You’ll love it, but we’ve been in the 80’s and will return to the 80’s probably permanently or until NOvember on Monday!! I have some reading to do. I’m working on book 2 for this month – it’s MUCH bigger than I anticipated! Also some writing.

post op where his mum could take care of him? Must have been planned awhile. I wonder if his agent suggested it or something like deviated septum got worse?
From all we have read, he always hated his nose. I assume he simply finally had enough money to simply go for it without thinking much about it. (I just looked up info on nose surgery, and it only takes 3 weeks to heal… not a very long time.)
I’ve probably asked this question before when his snoz discussion came up but doesn’t healthcare in UK pay for it or is it considered aesthetics and non covered?

not hardly. I did a long, deep research project of the 3 big Socialized healthcare systems (UK, Canada, France) vs the US healthcare system before Obummercare.
They did not fare well.

I miss his old nose – so noble and masculine – but I’ve become used to the new version. It seems to have softened a little with time, not as pointy as it was at TH Berlin premiere. I can’t imagine Guy with any other nose but the one he has.
I do as well. I liked his old nose, but he didn’t and he’s the one that has to look at it in the mirror and shave around it every day.
You’re right of course. I think part of why I felt sad he’d had work done was that, even knowing he’d never liked his nose, it seemed to coincide with going to Hollywood, and I really didn’t want him to change something about himself to live up to some kind of Hollywood image. As it turned out, it appears to me that TPTB couldn’t see the superb talent right in front of their noses.
