Right now, I’m feeling all sorts of loved! Personally, I love the top, but I think I’m top-heavy and it might be time to seriously consider a breast reduction. Either that or actually buy a well fitting bra! Also, I don’t think I look 57.
Tomorrow is Guy Day!!!!
Ooh! Pretty! I would be cautious about the breast reduction surgery. I know someone 10 years older than us that had a bad experience with skin not holding the stitches. Yikes! A good bra can never go amiss though.
I agree you don’t look 57. But then I don’t look 58, or so I’m told. I always like to use Gloria Steinem’s line of, “This is what [insert your age] looks like”. (I think she was 40 when she first said it.)
I”ve considered one for years – my insurance would pay for a reduction, but I’ve put it off because I’ve heard it reduces sensitivity.
Well, as I’m not intimate with anyone, haven’t been for years and DON”T see it happening ever for the rest of my life, I figure, what the heck? My bras are expensive and they don’t last more than 6 months before the wires pop out.
Ok well it was actually my sister. She also was to be better off for it medically. And it has helped her back and her ability to exercise and on balance she’s glad she did it. BUT… as one gets older, the skin loses elasticity and is less resilient. She also was on medications that may have had an impact. All I’m saying is get as much info as possible on potential complications and whether you have any particular risk factors. As for sensitivity, my understanding is that they detach the sensitive bits keeping their connections, but move them and reattach them so that they end up in the proper position.
As for bras, keep in mind that cup sizes change with the band size. So a C cup in a 34 is not the same size as a C cup in a 40, for example. That’s why it’s good to be measured. You can go down a band size and up a cup size, because they’re proportional.
You totally don’t look 57! Not least because of whatever you are standing in front makes it look as if you are wearing cat ears 😸… Nice top – spring time is definitely here!
That would be a watermelon ceramic hanging on the wall. We took it with my phone camera so I totally didn’t see them until after I posted! LOL!
Today’s high will be 79. Saturday and Sunday’s high will be 81.
Monday’s high will be 57…. ah yes, spring in the south!
Watermelon… 😂
Sounds like a great weekend – ah, I would love some sunshine and warmth, too. Enjoy it. And never mind Monday at 57. You’ll be back at work, anyway 😦
My room gets cold when it gets cold.
Make the kids (and yourself) dance to get warm 😉
I usually dance with them the month of April – CARDIO!!!!
👍👏💃👯♀️🕺 😀😂
Great – Monday is the 1st of April!
yeppers! Remember this time last year, I broke toes because I was dancing…
oh gosh yes, you did!!! Hence the cast when you were visiting that garden. Be careful this time round, Zee!
All chairs will be stacked in the back!
Good plan! Or toe cap boots!
It is better for the brain and sleeping pattern to have your bedroom cold….
My classroom…. it becomes an icechest when it’s cold.
Yes I realized after I posted the comment you two meant your classroom not your bedroom. sorry, hard to keep up with you two!!! You will be glad when it is hot outside if that classroom is a ice chest. So just wear some outer layers..
🙂
Pretty! You and the top! A good bra does make a lot of difference… I’m top heavy too and get mine from Bravissimo. I bet they ship. They currently have a sale 😉 https://www.bravissimo.com
I thought you were wearing cat ears too 😂
OOOOHH THEY HAVE A US SITE!!!!!
OH NO! They only go up to a band size 40 – I wear a 44! 😦
Have you been fitted properly for a bra, Zee? I found I thought I needed a bigger band size when I actually needed a much bigger cup size…
Yes I have – I’ve been wearing a 46DDD, but the last couple of bras I bought were a tad big. So I’m thinking it’s time for a 44.
Yeah go to a department store, you can get a free bra fitting and then either peruse around some stores have decent sales or go to Marshalls or Ross or somewhere and look for bras. At least then you know your size. A little more expensive bra is far better than a boob reduction. Be proud of those girls!!
The only store that carries my size is the bali outlets and it’s ONE style. Always. Anything else is a minimizer and that ain’t happening!
Helen since you opened the door a bit I have to ask were you happy to hear this? That happened to my sister too…
You look so cute and tiny esp those faux leather leggings!! Please no breast reduction, listen to Sue,. Get a coupled of nice good bras, you can hand wash them and save the money for a road trip or a MAC computer as Irish has!!
My bras always get hand washed, never EVER go in the dryer. I had a REALLY good black bra – lasted 3 years before the wire popped, I’m going to go to their website and see if I can find another.
The breast reduction is supposed to help with back problems – my insurance will pay for it, it’s not considered cosmetic.
Michele, I was pleased to finally have bras that fit properly! I thought I was 38 DD+, but came out withh 34 GG…
Yes my sister is 34 G and I thought I’ m thinner around the boob middle than she is how can she be a 34 and I am a 36C? I never understand the sizing anyway..
Oh I hope our blogger here is listening to you…
the last time I was fitted, I was a 46DDD. I’ve lost weight, I’m sagging,
Ok good on the weight loss so just get a fitting first then go from there. Going under the knife with all that shit afterwards is not worth it,. Watch Botched! once you’ll never do plastic surgery ugh!!!
Have a chat with the people at Bravissimo because they may be able to advise. And in the UK at least, all returns are free of charge.
You don’t look ANYTHING like 57 (wolf whistle)
Thank you. Some days, tho, I FEEL 57! LOL!
I only now saw this post. First you look awesome 🙂
And second: I had a breast reduction made three years ago and I’ve never been more happy about a surgery. Since I live in the Scandinavia the public healthcare paid about all of it, I only paid for the consultancy meetings (3 times) before the surgery and then the one night I spend in the hospital. I was saving up to go to a private clinic because I didn’t have very big cup, only D, but since it caused me huge mental pressure I managed to get in the public side and now I have B-cup bras.
If you have back problems due to the top-heavy body I’d recommend the surgery. It makes life so much more easier and happier.
Over here, insurance will pay for a reduction because it will alleviate back problems, which are more costly in the long run. I’m dealing with a lot of dental stuff right now.
I’m a DDD, so to be honest, a D cup would be SOOOO much smaller for me!
