“What is on your mind, Vivienne?”
She was quiet for several moments before responding. “It is so quiet in this house. Emptier than it will ever be. And we are in the solar, doing nothing about it.”
William’s eyebrows weren’t the only thing that rose at that admission. His lips reached her ear. “Are you saying you are willing?”
She spun at that, his nearness making that difficult. “Willing?” It was a hiss. “I’ve been willing since you first mentioned it at Hugh’s wedding!” She dropped her eyes. “Don’t tell anyone,” she mumbled.
William’s chuckles reverberated within his chest. “Ah, but you told me it ’twas a sin.”
“Then I will be an eager sinner!”
At that, he took her by the hand and led her from the room. “Then we should get on with this sinning business and make a celebration of it!”

I don’t know if he’s the best… he is CERTAINLY the sexiest!

It’s from Tina Turners song “Simply the Best”
I think Guy just in terms of personality, depth, sexiness and relatability was the best character!!

Guy was the best character in that show, hands down, no arguments. His was the only character that grew over the course of the show; Vaisey was the exact same, Robin was the exact same, the 2 seasons Marian was in it, she didn’t change. Oh sometimes, she acted as if she did, but in the end, she was the same, sneaky woman, who used Guy from the gitgo.
But Guy grew and changed and showed a depth that wasn’t apparent at the beginning. There was humanity in him that Vaisey, Robin, and Marian didn’t have. They were all singular, tunnel-visioned characters that never changed or grew or even became fleshed out. They were inherently boring. But not Guy! Even with the warts and the shadows, he was NOT boring at all!

I adore this character, warts and all, is what makes him one of the most beloved characters of RA

Sounds good! ❤️ Though where was he leading her, if they were already in the solar?

The bedroom. The solar in that home is in a separate room. I’ve envisioned it in the back with a lot of windows on the 2nd floor.
