stupidity behind the cut. No, I’ve spent NADA!!!!
Dear Heart. I do NOT need any more clothes!
My closet isn’t big enough!
Besides, considering how long it takes Zulily to deliver, it will be summer when that arrives!
Really!
I HAVE this in this color! Without the lace!
Really! That doesn’t help!
Honest, I”ve not bought a THING! I’m just looking!
Really a beautiful color that does NOT look pretty on me!
Maybe if I were dating…. which I”m not!
And of COURSE after I’ve purchased a few things, FullBeauty has a kick ass Clearance Sale and I’m broker than broke!
Sigh.

The first three are very cute esp the print!!! I thought you succumbed and bought the jeans? The boots on the jeans model are super cute!!

I like the 6th one – the floral? Seeing how I’m STILL waiting on things I purchased in December, I fear I wouldn’t get the sweaters until July!
I did buy jeans – there’s a picture of them from the other day. These are jeggings (tighter fit) and are 9.99 plus 40% off. I’m trying to figure out how I can have 120.00 available Tuesday, spend 58.00 and now only have 15.00 available. It makes no sense.
Michele Marsh said:
I’m not a fan of jeggings I think they are too tight and I feel very self conscious in them the one pair I bought
Floral? I think don’t hit me it’s youngish and a tad prudish
You need bolder colors or the top print which would light your face up like a fire cracker! These blush’s and bday pink colors ugh…,, IN My OPINION 😘😉🤣

Pale colors wash me out. I love the sweaters, but again, I’m still waiting on things that I ordered over a month ago…
As I wear long tunics, jeggings and leggings are fine with me.
I do like that first one too. I’m just wondering if the collar will bother me. I bought a boatneck print back in November and it cuts across my collarbone at the base of my throat. I spent all day tugging at it.
Michele Marsh said:
Yeah boatnecks are tricky. I have one from Target that rides up a bit and I tug at it and the bra strap peaks out which makes me self-conscious. I used to be a big fan of florals but now they seem a bit dated and I like edgy things. The black lacey “date” tunic isn’t bad but I mean more black…
zeesmuse said:
You remember the beautiful burgundy shawl top I bought. The under rides up SO bad, I’m going to have to wear a chemise under it!
Michele Marsh said:
I have to wear one under a lot of blouses and some sweaters I bought that are itchy. Not a bad trade off especially if you feel good in the shawl top!!
zeesmuse said:
I love the shawl top. I love how it feels and fits.
I’m trying to find those things. So far, not good. The grey tulip sweater isn’t available in my size now. I’ve only found that first one…

Not sure whether I have come up with this revolutionary suggestion before, but have you ever thought about cancelling the subscriptions to these e-mails? And to the catalogues? At least temporarily until you have a) made space in your closet and b) prioritised your dental work etc.?
zeesmuse said:
I have. But I go look when I’m bored.
I should probably write instead.
The dental work is priority and the funds are laid aside, between insurance, PSA, and Care Credit. Just having to schedule around gum healing and Spawn’s upcoming heart cath.

I know right? Very hard esp when I can’t sleep and my mind is wondering what is on sale, FOMO big time!!! My itchy fingers on the phone hitting “send to cart”
hard to step away…
zeesmuse said:
send to cart is hard to resist.

👍🏻 Good woman!!!

You are so sweet “revolutionary” nice touch. Boredom is hard, many eat out of boredom. Zee and I shop out of boredom esp at night!!!
zeesmuse said:
What you said!
Actually, I shop out of depression. My situation right now professionally is… very stressed.
Guylty said:
Hehe, ok, maybe I should apply my revolutionary ideas to my current state of overweightness 🤣
Michele Marsh said:
Na na don’t… you are beautiful and the means justified the end so to speak right?
Guylty said:
😘
zeesmuse said:
NO! No denigrating yourself! It’s damaging and doesn’t help you reach your goals. You are Bold, you are Bodacious, and you are Beautiful!

Zee alliteration time!!! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, shopping out of depression is so common, however, you have to control it. I know it is hard but think of your poor closets and pocketbook. I have of mine. I am on a pill that made me gain10 lbs and unfortunately I have about 20 pairs of slacks that are going to Good Will. Someone will get use to them. Not to mention some of the shirts i am giving also because my bust has become bigger, but you know, I love the red and black one on here. Simply superb.
Michele Marsh said:
My bust is big too! I mean I would be happy about this but it came with weight gain too! Good advice Irish but hard for some of us (me) to follow. It is a form of depression I think, almost like a comfort food at least for me. A way to make myself feel good or in control of something. Oops I’ve probably said too much
zeesmuse said:
DDD
yeah
Michele Marsh said:
I mean men like big boobs right?
zeesmuse said:
Even when I was thin, I had the major kahoonas!
zeesmuse said:
My weight is rearranging, so I’ve dropped a dress size. Things are big….
Michele Marsh said:
Mine sprouted when I gained weight….
Irish Witch said:
Yes, men to tend to like boobs Marsh but if they like them so much let them get a pair of their own. I have always been large and no matter how much I gain or lose they always stay pretty much the same and I hate wha they do to how the clothes look on you.
zeesmuse said:
Actually, I liked mine a lot, until they started moving south…
Michele Marsh said:
Yeah I mean my boobs are one part that I actually like along with my eyes.. but no tight outfits for me either…
