the company that sold me the computer battery has contacted me wanting to know if I got the battery.
I’ve given them an earful and told them I think they owe me compensation for my laptop. Ball is in their court, we’ll see what happens.
I’ve also decided to contact my insurance company about the car. I’m SURE I have road hazard and if that’s so, they should cover the cost of the transmission pan. Between the car and the computer, I’m looking at $1000.00. I can’t afford it.
Spawn has loaned me his old laptop. I’m grateful for that, but that sucker is SLOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!! oh so SLOOOOOOOOOOOW! It’s as bad as my old Dell. Really.

The first picture is a capture from BS1. The REALLY snug pants one was taken at a forum in Brazil.
The battery is used when an outlet isn’t available to plug into. Batteries tend to last about 4 hours – although the new ones last 8. My original battery was giving me 1 hour to 90 minutes at best, so I bought the 2nd battery. The battery was defective and imploded the motherboard – which is the piece that runs EVERYTHING and typically costs more to replace than to simply purchase a new computer. It toasted my laptop.

If the battery caused the problem, and assuming it was the correct one ( according to their info) then they ow you without a doubt! As for the car insurance, well insurance companies are slippery baskets, but harague them to within an inch of their lives, they’ll try anything to get out of their obligations.

The battery provider was quick to ask me if I had RECEIVED the battery. They were also quick to tell me to please ‘communicate’ with them if there was a problem. Funny, I got THAT email less than 12 hours after I asked for a return slip and why I wanted to return it. They’ve not responded to my reply that their battery was defective and cost me my laptop. I better hear from them soon.
Can you call them and yell at them or is this all online and no way to contact them verbally?
