I hope and pray that all of my friends who celebrate Thanksgiving, have a peaceful, lovely long weekend and all the turkey, ham, dressing and apple pie, you can stomach.
And mashed potatoes and gravy.
I have so much that I am thankful for. I look back over the past year and all the trials I’ve faced and the greatness of God bringing me through them. I have family that I not only speak to, but love greatly, my son breathes – that’s a biggie! Clothes! I’m thankful for CLOTHES!!! I have a job that I fuss about but hey, after unemployment for 5 years, being able to meet the bills and have a little bit left over is a great thing. And things are changing. We move into our new school next month over the holidays. I’m hoping when I get back from Thanksgiving break, I’ll be allowed in my room to take pictures before everything gets stacked in there.
The only thing I’m NOT grateful for right now, is this horrible Upper Respiratory Infection that I can feel will probably be some sort of bronchitis or walking pneumonia with the next 24 hours. I’m going downhill. My lungs haven’t rattled this bad in a long time. Spawn will be driving into the Interior and I’m going to read and look at my new clothing catalogues. I just might put the battery in the laptop and write. I don’t think I’m going to make my goal for Nanowrimo. 😦 But hey, I’ve started it… right? And I’m committed to finishing it!
And lastly, I’m thankful for all of you! You keep me going, keep me guessing, keep me sane. You keep me smiling and you keep me thinking. I’m thankful for Richard Armitage, because he brought almost everyone one of you into my circle. And I am forever thankful for that.
We are going to pack the car, catch the kitties and bring them as well. I hope to head out of here in the next few hours. So I hope and pray that all of you (even if you don’t celebrate) have a wonderful, long weekend!
