I got up this morning after a restless night, to discover my order – with the exception of the 2 blouses I knew were back-ordered – had been shipped and I should expect them at the end of the week. I was all excited, but my joy was deflated when I read that Lee Kirton, the youngster who Urban Grimshaw was based upon had died this past summer of an apparent drug over dose.

What will it take before our children realize that drugs are a dead end street? When will parents realize when they take drugs, the chances of them passing this to their children multiplies? I recall some years ago reading a news article about a mother who shot heroin. Her favorite drug buddy? Her 18 year old son.

I just can’t wrap my mind around it.
