I’ve got a book in mid-read and I’m not in the mood to finish – and it’s an author and character I really like.
I have a book from an author I love sitting in the wings and I’m just not…. meh.
In fact, overall I’m not in the mood to read at all.
I don’t want to do any gaming.
My Big Bang is back from the beta and there are very nice graphics but I think I”ve cleaned 4 pages of the 41 and that’s about it… THis is supposed to go up in the next week or two.
I’m staring at my Coca-Cola.
Nothing interests me. Nothing excites me. If someone gave me tickets to Love Love Love, plus airfare/train fare and 2 nights in NYC…. I don’t know.
There was no Sunday Beefcake or ManCandy Monday.
The next 4 questions of my book meme has me completely stumped.
I. Just. Don’t. Care.
Honestly, I’m seriously considering completely skipping this year’s elections. I’m just NOT that happy with all of it. I heard a news report where pollsters asked the people supporting these two idiots and the answer was over-whelming. It’s not that anyone LIKED their candidate and wanted to see them become president. It was actually, the voter HATED the other candidate so much, they were terrified of them becoming president. SO here we have The Lessor of Two Evils Election.
So.Not. Happy.
Venturing a rare political response, since you and I disagree so strongly: I am excited and pleased to vote for Hilary Clinton. I have plenty of friends who feel the same. The media have decided that the story is the entire electorate hates all the candidates. I think there are plenty of people who are excited about Trump, as well (even if I disagree with them).
If you don’t vote, you let someone else decide for you.
I cannot stomach Slick Hilly. I see her as Barry 301 and I can’t afford another 4 years like the last 8.
Sadly, she is more Conservative than Trump.
Gary Johnson? Nopers.
I know more people staying home, a LOT of friends are – they hate one or the other so much their voting for the other simply because. I can’t say I hate one More than the other. I hate them both equally. I weep for my country.
I won’t say anymore because I am TRYING to keep this blog as politically free as possible. We’ll just chalk it up to a pretty low down swing in my mood at this time.
Oh and night sweats. I have them baaaaad tonight. Wonder if Spawn will get ticked if I turned the AC down to 40?
Your title sums it up, Zee – you’re in a rut, understandably after what’s been going on in your life. Take heart. You WILL get your mojo back, it’s just a matter of time. How about a North & South binge… I find that always helps… Just let yourself wallow for a bit. Hugs.
Uch, i can understand how you feel. I think just give yourself some time, mojo will be back, maybe it will be just a sunny day, a view of the beach, cooking with spawn, a kid doing sudden progress, something will come along and get you smiling again. Here’s at least a hug from me. xx
I think point 7 on Hillary’s list would be very applicable to Trump’s list as well. Or: ‘Trump says something without knowing any facts’.
I’m sorry you are so down now, even though that is a very natural reaction after what you’ve been through. Give yourself a little time to grieve, you will rally again, I know you will! (((Hugs)))
I don’t like either one of them. Neither one is fit or competent to hold that office. Absolute the worst choices ever.
My niece is coming for the weekend. She wants comfort food and we have it. I’m hoping to do all the clean up work on my Big Bang and sign up for posting dates. (I’ll be posting it here.)
Time to go home. Yay. it’s GUY DAY!!!!
Yeah, I don’t see it quite that way, I do think there is one good choice for president you have there… but that’s just me, a foreigner, judging from the outside. 🙂
Have a great weekend with your niece!
I understand. I don’t weigh in on European politics because I don’t understand them and what I do understand, I don’t like. I’ve done my research on BOTH of the major candidates here. Both are evil, greedy, liars. Both have done appalling things. I weep for my country.
Well, that sucks…
And I get what you mean. When I look at most of the politicians here in my country, I get this urge to weep as well… The few I do like are in such minority positions I don’t feel like they’ll ever get a chance to be elected as leader of this country. We have elections here next year March and already I am dreading it. I will vote but I am dreading it…
For the first time in my life, I’m seriously considering staying home and just having a bbq or something. Neither one of these turkeys are a winner.
I joke – I don’t discuss politics because my debating skills are nil. It’s true. I get hot under the collar rather quickly, but once a person makes up their mind, they’re not apt to change it. That goes for both sides. We have the two most unpopular candidates ever running against each other and not a decent 3rd party candidate that anyone can really get behind running. I’m stocking up on canned foods. This will be worse than the Zombie Apocalypse.
😦 I feel for you…
It’s really a sad situation. A year ago, I would have said emphatically to stand by your party and vote. Not now. My ‘party’ doesn’t represent me at all. The representative is a Democrat! In fact, the Democratic nominee is more Conservative than the so-called Conservative rep. It’s really sad.
