I hear that to the tune of ‘The Loooooooooove Booooooooaaaaaaaaaaat’….
I am the proud owner of an RA Plushie. I’m waiting for him to come in. I can’t wait.
His Majesty is not pleased.
No. I am not pleased. He thinks he is the king of cuteness. I am The King. Period.
This might be a problem.
Quickly (as my kids are outside) Some Guy…..
There will be more… later…
Wow, there has been a lot of plushie activity this week then… Is it Guy?
I BELIEVE I bought plushie Richard at the Leicaster Film Festival Richard
LOL. You too????? I know of two other people *rofl*
Well he’s a cutie patootie! I’ll probably break down and buy Sir Guy this weekend. Make a note to just sent them together.
He is very cute, I agree.
Sir Guy is smirking at me *right now*, wiggling his bare chest at me 😉
And if you give me a day or two, I’ll see what I can do to add to your reading collection!
I like the sound of that!

Yep. THis one’s mine.
OOOOOH LOOK!!!! She’s got a Guy of Gisborne one. I SHOULD stop spending. I broke down and bought a Kindle Fire last night too. My handheld is toastie cheese and the last PC Kindle update is mucked up, useless, and made an unusable mess of the old updates. Am SOOOOO unhappy.
That one is MINE. I ordered it yesterday *LOL*. (Don’t worry, I don’t think it matters. There is not just one of each…)
Congrats on a new Kindle Fire. I am still on my old Kindle with the grey screen. Kind of annoying, because I can only read with the light on…
I wouldn’t have bought it except I’m having a HORRID time with my PC Kindle. They updated it and the update sucks! It won’t display books not obtained through Amazon properly. When they do this crap, I simply reload with an old driver, but they’ve screwed those up as well. Right now, it’s only showing 15% of my books and it won’t download any new ones.
To make it worse, in attempt to trouble shoot the thing, they added 7 PC Kindles on my account. When I attempted to deregister the unnecessary PC Kindles, they instead deregistered my decrepit handhald. It won’t go online anymore, so I can’t reregister it. I can put things I’ve obtained elsewhere on it, but it won’t let me put them in folders – meaning I have to hunt – and it won’t let me move things from my Kindle Cloud to it. They’ve screwed me bad. I spent 3 hours online with their customer service on Tuesday and basically, I was told – too bad, so sorry, give the new one a try and here’s 10.00 gift certificate for your inconvenience.
Yeah. Really unhappy!
OH, that sounds like a whole lot of nuisance. But well, no point in looking back on this now. You have got a new Kindle Fire, and you will enjoy that, I am sure. Does it display all your old books properly?
(PS: Made the “mistake” of downloading a free extract from the first in a Shayla Black series on my Kindle this morning while still dozing in bed. What can I say, after 2 chapters, I *had to* buy the whole book. And then I couldn’t stop reading, and it was half past 11 when I finally peeled myself out of the bed…)
My new Kindle Fire is supposed to arrive on Monday.
I broke down and downloaded the new upgrade and they fixed the major problem, but now the thing won’t hold on to my folders. pissed to the gills!
Let me look in my arsenal. I believe I have a lot of her books. Also discovered Lexi Blake also writes under Sophia Oak.
I should apologize for corrupting you.
Not.
(Thank you for the plug on the weekly roundup!)
Hehe, no, never apologise for corrupting me. I am actually quite pleased that I am reading *at all*.
Yeehah for the new Kindle arriving soon. Something to look forward to!
You know, after SOOOO long of wishing and wanting, and just biting the bullet and saying, no, not right now, it is SO nice to look at something that’s not really expensive and going – yeah, I’m going to get that right now! I’ve got some new clothes in the closet – you will NOT believe how good that makes a girl feel! – getting the house put together, slowly slowly, a few silly things (like my plushie) and looking forward to the new Kindle.
I was going to get a paperwhite, but they had the fire on sale for 50.00! I jumped on it!!! So I’m really excited!
I totally understand what you mean, Zee. I am in a similar situation with the job that I started last summer. I am wholly enjoying that – have also splashed on a few clothes, on a mini-break, on some photography gear.
What, the whole Fire for 50$? You would’ve been stupid not to take it. Brilliant – also means you can fan girl on the go much easier 😀
Yep, I got the Fire for 50 and I splurged on a memory chip, so I’ll have 32G of storage. Oh the books…. lol!
I’ve lost a little bit of weight (again) but now that Spawn has moved down and is COOKING, I might end up gaining it back! LOL!
Oh, plenty of storage for lots of reading material…
Lucky you, being cooked for by lovely son. (I hate cooking so much…)
Between what’s on the kindle and the chip, I”ll have 40G. It will ALL be books! I understand it has Wifi on it, but there are a few sites I won’t even mess with with it – filters and blacklists don’t work, I understand.
I cook and I don’t mind it, but with me at work and with the commute (which really isn’t bad, it’s just the traffic and back up at my exits) and he’s home, soooo he plans the menus and cooks. He made a pot roast last weekend that was killer!
And he IS a much better cook than I am.
