blood blister

now, I realize that doesn’t look like anything, but what it is, is a blood blister in the outer crevice of my left pinkie and it goes just under the nail.

That would be my anchor pinkie for the bass when I play piano, (the 2 pinkies are the most important fingers when playing piano!) which I’ve been playing a LOT as of late. This one was created yesterday when I was jamming with my fellow band director – jazzin’ it up with Conjunction Junction, me on the ivories and him on his trombone. We rocked the house, our students loved it, we’ve been getting faculty audiences out in the hall and it’s the AIR to me.

(Disregard the dirt under the nails. I’ve been unpacking music boxes.)

I’m thinking tho, I could use a doctor maybe.

Maybe him???

Guylty Pleasure

After a confusing post a few days ago, which was really only meant to sound out if I may depend on your support, it is now time to *really* ask for your help again, dear friends in our community of Armitage fans. You have proven time and again how generous and compassionate you are, the latest occasion being Mr A’s birthday when a hint by the birthday boy resulted in several thousands of ££ being donated to his latest cause. I love nothing more than historical houses. Really. Older homes, bungalows built in the 1930’s. Some of you KNOW where I’ve moved… and the historical portion of the city is beyond beautiful.

I’ve found an apartment… a condo, a something… historical in historical…. and I can afford the rent and it’s pet friendly and it’s beautiful and over 100 years old and wood floors and fully equipped…

Okay, it’s ONLY 2 bedrooms and ONLY 1 bath and no garage and parking ON THE street – I’d have to brush up my parallel parking skills, so would Spawn and there’s like no storage really…

but its soooooooo gorgeous…. and it’s in historical…. you-know-where…. all it’s missing is a garage and a 2nd bathroom and Richard…

Speaking of Richard, I have my Crucible poster up on my wall next to my desk and one of my kinders says – Who dat onna wall??? 

That’s my future husband.

Oh?? Is he real?
