And now for the *coughcoughyeahrightcoughcough* highly  anticipated monthly edition of ‘Zee  reads’.

First, I apologize for the crazy spacing. My space bar has decided it doesn’t want to work unless I beat the tar out of it. It either doesn’t space at all  or  it double spaces. It has reeked havoc on my writing.

Not to mention  my patience.

Sooooo…. I had a rough time with  the challenge  this month. 50 books in a year shouldn’t be a problem, but I started 4 books and went ‘meh’ and reverted back to books I’ve read or continued in longer series I’ve started. As a result I  haven’t really added t o the list I”m trying to fill out. Simply extended what’s already there for the most part. With the exception of one – poetry, but we’ll get to that…  Okay – first up…

Poetry. NO cover.

Letter to a girl from her own self – by Alice Christiana Maynell.

Full of words and meaning and signifying… NOTHING!

Really. I hated it. I read the damn thing 3 times. Might as frickin’ well been in Greek.

Next up..

Good Tidings Never Forgotten

Mary O’reilly parts 3 and 4. #3 – Never under-estimate a scorned woman and 4 – Mary and honey and ghosts break up in a baby selling ring.

Dungeon ROyale

Ah yes. My love of Lexi Blake’s hot Doms and amazingly strong submissives continue. This one is my absolute favorite of the series. Damon Knight: suave, sophisticated, and highly in denial about  his injuries caused by when his (now former) partner (as in work) tried to kill him. Physically reminds me of someone who I adore from afar… coughcough. Would LOVE to see him play this… coughcoughcoughcough… ANYWAY… yeah. Favorite.

Dungeon Games

Novella from previous series. Everybody has a story!

And last but not least… I needed a knight for a night… and this WAS on the to read list… somewhere.

Warrior's Game

Pretty okay Read. Apparently, this is the THIRD in a series – not a trilogy, per se. She does know her history,  I’ll give her that.

I have 2 more Masters and Mercenaries to re-read before the new one – a full length and a novella and a new novella is supposed to come out I think this  month. I’m looking at my list and I want to start filling IN the gaps rather than adding more to those that have already been filled. I’ve started on – I bring the fire – which is a  Loki story (Loki as in The Legend and Myth rather than Loki as in the Avengers and Tom Hiddleston Universe. NOt that there  is anything WRONG with Tom Hiddleston, not at  all. There are 5 or 6 in the series and I have the first 2.

I have 3 trilogies set aside – we’ll see how the first one goes: Divergent by Veronica Roth, A knight of the Word by Terry Brooks and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by someone with a really long name. The last trilogy was recommended (which fills another one of those dreaded slots) I’ve read the first of A Knight of the Word and enjoyed it and have wanted an excuse to read the rest (well, all of Terry’s books it seems are all one millennium long history book in the fantasy/urban fantasy world) and the Divergent series – or at least ONE- would fill yet ANOTHER slot. So we’ll have to see. As for the rest…

I’ve come to the conclusion that my ‘to read’ list has become an unwinable feat…
