SO this past week, I’ve made a rather … unsettling discovery.
My POP!Thorin is moving around on his own.
REALLY!
POP!Thorin is part of my little Richard shrine – He sits on top of my externals – yes he is King over the Externals – towards the back, surveying all he owns. But in the past week, he’s been moving all over that external.
It does not vibrate, wiggle, and it isn’t in the path of the vents, so that’s not it. He just… well… moves.
This was yesterday morning.
THIS was when we returned from the southern parts of our journey.
He not only moved up over an inch, he turned completely sideways.
I moved him back and this morning he had moved up an inch and to the right, rather than the left.
I consider this eerie.

He’s turning towards the light… Maybe he has seen the light?
I don’t know. The room itself is fairly dark – The laptop screen is the brightest light in the room – the ceiling fan light has a 60 watt bulb and the blue reading light by my bed is a 40 watt… and that last one he is looking at the laptop….
It’s just weird. I’m sure there’s a logical explanation…
you gotta watch it — mine jumped into my England luggage. Or, maybe he was in my computer bag for some reason already and failed to jump out …
I don’t put anything past mine! He managed to sneak into the movies twice and coerced me to buy him popcorn…
he’s that kind of guy. Persistent.

Dammit! I have a thing about creepy toys and now I have to put POP!Thorin on the list? This might require some more experimentation, zee.
Well since I posted this… he’s moved slightly to the left, his left boot starting to hang over the edge. Hmmmmm.

Mine is grouchy too! In fact, both of them are. I’ve had to separate them! At least the other one doesn’t stalk about places….
i woke up during the night and read this then couldn’t fall asleep for a bit… spooky indeed, haha. (there must be an explanation! lol. please share with us if you figure it out! :D)
Well he hasn’t moved in the last 8 hours, but I’ve been watching him. I’ll bet he’s moved when I go to bed!!!LOL!
lol! now i have second thoughts on getting my own pop!thorin 😛
I have two. the other one doesn’t move at all. Just this one. It’s eerie. Right now he’s glaring at me. Hmmmm.
eerie indeed. maybe switch the two and see if the other one moves too? maybe it’s the location?
you know, that’s an idea. I’ll have to try that.
