Yes yes yes Spring is here, oh spring is here! Life is skittles and life is beer.
Or so they say!!! 6 weeks ago, we had snow and we were DYING…
But now???
See those yellow things up in there? They’re going to ESPLOOOODE in a few weeks and we will then have ‘yellow snow’… and I will relapse.
I love the dogwoods…they’ll be all over the woods next door soon…
Know what those are???? Welcome to the South…
Azalea buds… the ones behind the house are hot pink and the ones in front of the ‘little house’ will bloom late and are burnt orange!!
I don’t think the fig tree will bear fruit this year. My mother is lethal with a chain saw.
The last of the Daffys. I think we have one more grouping that will bloom. But I think in a week – 2 tops – our yard will be a mass of color – with no figs. 😦
And just because…
ZOMG HE HAZ A PONYTAIL!!!!!
Thanks for the all of your lovely pictures. We got another foot of snow last night so at least now I can enjoy your Spring.
I love spring, but I’m allergic to everything about it. Seems I’m just getting over THIS crud and I’m going to get hit again. But it’s still pretty!!!
Those buds in the second picture – what are they? Are they out now? Wow, beautiful. The trees have not even started budding yet, over here. That is all except our winter cherry which is in full bloom.
Sorry to hear you are moving from the frying pan to the fire with hay fever coming up… Bad timing this year.
I think it’s one of the dogwoods. They’re bursting out with their leaves right now. The blossoms will peak during Easter.
The hay fever will be more a runny nose and congestion rather than the painful cough. Still miserable. I so used to love Spring.
